The Endorsement
This programme seeks to increase the participation of cultural practitioners and heritage-based firms by offering better access to the tourism market for products that meet locally-approved standards of authenticity and sustainability. It will also benefit domestic and international visitors by making available a wider variety of heritage products and services that embody the distinctive culture and traditions of the destination.
Through this initiative the National Trust and local policy makers will gain a new channel for incentivising and promoting a holistic tourism offering that more fully integrates cultural heritage products and services into current tourism initiatives. In turn, stimulating economic growth amongst local business entities of all sizes including the micro and small enterprise sector. These enterprises will be fully supported throughout the endorsement process and will benefit by:
- access to business support services
- adoption of best practices
- improved investment potential
- access to alternative financing and funding
- development of market ready products
- access to global online markets

Endorsees
The
Application Process
If you feel that your business would like to be considered for the Endorsee Program. Please contact us by clicking the contact us button on the right. On the contact form state that you are applying to become endorsed in our program.
Following receipt of your request, you will be given a date to meet with one of our Endorsement Advisors who will take you through the pre-screening application. This should take between 45 – 60 minutes.
Once your application is with us you will be notified of a date when our Endorsee Review Committee will meet to evaluate your application. (You are not required to attend this evaluation).
If there are any questions arising from your application you will be notified by email and also contacted in person by your Endorsement Advisor or one of our team within 14 days of the review committee meeting.
Within 21 days of the review committee meeting you will be notified if your application has been successful.
In the event that you are not successful, you will be informed via email as to the reasons. You will be welcome to apply again at the next sitting of the Endorsee Review Committee, and as you have applied previously, you will qualify for our fast-track process.
