A place made of rocks. A hole. A spring

A well. A very deep hole.

Someplace containing water. Looks like a “back in the days” water source for cooking, washing, and chores

Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)

This is the village well used by my great-grandmother. They didn’t know about pipes and tanks.

The foundation culture is hidden but it’s still there.

What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)

 

It shows how nature provides us with options to survive.
