OAS/GNT Sustainable Heritage Endorsement ProgrammePHOTOVOICE PROMPT #5: Lost & Found
What do you see here? (Addressed to the whole group)
old buildings, rustic ones, the agricultural shop, shoe shop, the market
Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)
I had learned that in the market square they used to preach, they used to buy and sell slaves and even hang people. Now it is the market. Used to have umbrellas over the vendors tables rather than all these buildings.
What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)
They redid the buildings and put those concrete steps up into the market.
But there is still nowhere to just lime in town.
There are no trees in the market
It feels so small now and cramped up
