PHOTOVOICE PROMPT #1: THAT’S WE CULTURE

What do you see here? (Addressed to the whole group)

Plum growing on a tree

Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)

It is plum season and I like to eat plums.

What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)

We see nice juicy plums.

Plums are used in stews.

Plums that are green are picked and cooked in sugar for a sweet treat.

Plums are only available for a short time every year.

You have to climb the tree or beat them down with a long stick in order to reach them.

Most plum trees grow to be really tall.
