Flowers, it strives in drought

Flower tree

Life of our people, national flower

Beauty, the fruitfulness of Grenada

Food – honey, wine, perfume

Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)

These flowers are all over Grenada. It’s the national flower in many different colours. Tourists must always see this around Grenada. It’s used in church to decorate and make the flowers for wine.

What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)

As long as tax is high we must survive like the bougainvillea which thrives in drought.
