OAS/GNT Sustainable Heritage Endorsement ProgrammePHOTOVOICE PROMPT #4: This is not the Grenada I once Knew
What do you see here? (Addressed to the whole group)
Town, the malls, business places, lots of buildings, two ships
Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)
This area used to have the bus terminal. My mom used to sell there, she was a vendor, and I remember playing there all the time. When there was no buses, for Christmas, there was a Christmas tree in the centre.
What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)
I had an old teacher that said the seashore used to be right there, like a beach in town.
Before these buildings by the sea town used to be more open
It used to feel more spacious and free
