PHOTOVOICE PROMPT #3: The Things Tourists Never See

What do you see here? (Addressed to the whole group)

Telescope.

Progress Park.

Place to go hiking.

Sea water, rocks, houses, the big park.

Telescope point.

Viewpoint from a high hill.

Quarry.

Low tide and tree tops.

Dwelling houses.

Beautiful part of Grenada

Why did you take this photo? (Addressed to the photographer)

Tourists see part of Grand Anse, but not this location, which is also beautiful. They don’t know of Telescope Point but know of Telescope Beach. Tourists don’t trek into the mountain.

What is really happening here? (Addressed to the whole group—alternatively what does the photograph represent?)

Shows different viewpoint of the area such as Conference Rock.

The waves breaking against the rock.

The natural part of Grenada, not just the town.

This is the more cultural part of Grenada.

The atmosphere is literally different, cooler, fresher air, better air quality.

Showing part of the beautiful forest, natural and cool.
